For thousands of years, people all over the world have gathered on festive occasions to share in the eating of special foods. Our American Thanksgiving is one of these occasions, and we are going to once again have a special worship service the Sunday before Thanksgiving (November 19). We will share a variety of breads representing the beauty and heritage of America’s many diverse peoples.
As part of both services that morning, we are asking for individuals and families to consider bringing special bread that honors their heritage or expresses a favorite family tradition. The breads will be served to the congregation in small pieces so that each person can sample several of them.
Please join us on Sunday, November 19 at 8:45 am or 10:00 am for our Heritage Harvest Service. All are welcome!
